Reiki and EFT

Reiki Healing

Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that allows participants to tap into an unlimited supply of “life force energy” to improve health and enhance the quality of life. Reiki treats the whole person — body, mind and spirit. Reiki’s benefits include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being. Many people have reported miraculous results from Reiki energies. Reiki is a simple, natural, safe method of spiritual healing and self-empowerment, for all people and even for pets.

Reiki treatments can be wonderfully complemented by a technique called EFT, by applying both techniques we allow our subconscious to come forward once we are liberated from all those emotions that are trapped inside us.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) - also sometimes known as MTT (Meridian Tapping Techniques ) is a very flexible improvement tool that can be used for just about everything. EFT, one of the modern “energy meridian” therapies, can be used as a self-administered treatment that enables and empowers you, the user.
Using EFT regularly can enable you to tap into those hidden resources that lie deep inside all of us, tapping into that potential within, allowing it to blossom more freely. This, in turn, allows you to move forwards in your life, filled with confidence and self-belief, rather than fear and doubt. With regular use of EFT, the sky’s the limit.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a personal performance tool designed to address a wide range of negative emotions that compromise people's lives, productivity, relationships, opportunities, and happiness.

EFT has ancient roots in the Chinese study of the body's subtle energies. Modern pioneers like Dr. George Goodheart, Dr. John Diamond, Dr. Roger Callahan, and Gary H. Craig have refined the work begun 5000 years ago by Chinese healers.

EFT is a cousin of acupuncture and acupressure. It goes beyond these therapies in that it verbally targets specific negative emotions in a streamlined, orderly process while targeting the body's energy meridian points. Using EFT, the practitioner can clear disruption in, and restore balance to, the body's energy system. EFT is like "emotional acupuncture without needles."

EFT departs from the traditional therapeutic approach of "treating the memory" by asking the client to repeatedly relive it. EFT respects the memory, but addresses the true cause of the negative emotion: a self-perpetuating disruption in the body's energy system. The consequence of a painful life experience is an energy disruption; negative emotions are the reaction to this disruption. The good news is:
•           EFT does not involve a drawn-out "tell me your life story."
•           EFT often works when nothing else will.
•           EFT is usually rapid and long-lasting.
•           EFT is physically painless.
•           EFT does not involve drugs or equipment.
The motivation that drove EFT developers was the question: What actually works? The best news about EFT is that it is very effective in removing disruptions in the energy system. It is relatively painless compared to traditional therapies committed to the belief that clients must endlessly wallow in their painful past.

In contrast, the EFT practitioner must only identify the origin of the pain that caused the energy disruption and understand the specific negative emotions that the client experiences in reaction to the disruption's self-perpetuating "static." A negative emotion is like a tripped circuit breaker that compromises your ability to cope. EFT is a rapid, effective way of resetting the breaker. Removing the negative emotional component from a memory, event, or situation results in a profound and pleasant effect on attitude, perception, relationships, and overall health.
